I am an artist and have been with HostGator since I started my blog 4 years ago. Whenever I had any issues (mostly my own mistakes hehehe) the tech support is top notch. I never had to wait AT ALL and got a live agent to help me. They are courteous and super helpful. I feel very looked after, especially as someone who is not into coding and has to manage a self hosted blog. Never had any issues and everything is smooth.

The advisor I dealt with was very knowledgeable, helpful, and took the time to thoroughly explain the issue I was facing without taking lots of additional time.

Anytime I've had to contact support with a question, they've been super helpful and will take charge of the issue. I try to help myself when I can but sometimes it's just faster for them to do it. I really like using HostGator.

HostGator support has improved a lot! I've been their customer for almost 2 decades I recently had an issue with whitelisting an endpoint. The last time this happened, it took about a week and I had to speak with multiple support agents before it was finally resolved. This time, the whole issue was handled in less than 5 minutes. I understand this required a network/security expert, and I really appreciated that the first person I spoke to recognized that right away and quickly escalated it to a senior support member. Special thanks to Rishan for handling it so efficiently. This experience made me feel even more confident in HostGator’s service quality and commitment to helping customers.

I give HostGator a 10! on their customer support. Ive been a client since 2010. They have changed their monthly fee for hosting to $39.00! It was like 19 bucks. That's not even a big issue, the issue was this month for the first time I feel behind so asked them for a coupon. Paid every month for 16 years! NOPE! So I found another host for $14 a month- more add ons even! pfffffff I don't look for handouts but asking to shave off some of a $39.00 bill- 15 years. its cool. Im saving $ Even if it was $5 I would have stayed. Capitalism baby. Don't like it move on!

Good hosting, but sometimes we have problems with auctions, where consumers forget to pay and are immediately penalized for not being able to participate in the auction. This is not because we intentionally don't pay, sometimes we also have work that must be completed until we forget about the auction we participated in. Please ask Namecheap to give us a little leniency.

Over the past few days I contacted their live chat multiple times for DNS configuration issues that were honestly quite technical. Every single agent I spoke with was knowledgeable, patient, clear, and solution-focused. What blew me away was the consistency. Each time I got a different agent and yet the quality never dropped once. That is unheard of in customer support. They did not just tell me what to do, they explained why, which made all the difference and provided solutions every single time.
