I called in because I had a billing issue where a refund was slow to show up in my bank account. Since I hadn't received any communication regarding the refund after a couple of business days, I called in to inquire about the status. The agent was very helpful and knowledgeable, and confirmed that the transaction was being processed. I also need to give a shoutout to the previous agent who granted the one-time exception. They were understanding and professional when assessing my situation, and offered a refund that took my circumstances into consideration. What stands out the most is how rare this kind of service has become. Most corporations today are only focused on the bottom line, and reaching an actual human in customer service is tedious and sometimes impossible. You get stuck in chatbot loops that send you in circles (I recently went through exactly this with a similar tech company). Getting a refund on top of that? Almost unheard of. I received an e-mail notification, supposedly from Bluehost, making me aware our auto-renewal failed due to outdated payment information. I was skeptical about the e-mail. I contacted Bluehost support via the chat function, and they confirmed that the e-mail was not from them and that all my auto-payment processing was already processed. They confirmed that the e-mail I received was a phishing attempt.

The assistant was wonderful even though I was frustrated. He did a great job!
