Previously, I have sought your support to correct my physical and email address etc., without success. The technical support person I worked with today was extremely helpful and stayed with me while I made the corrections for my address, email and phone. However, I did not do as well with trying to cancel your service for "the capable self.com." I had originally planned to start a related business with that name but never got around to it. I did not get email and any written communication from IONIS about the January 7, 2026, renewal, because the contact information was no longer correct. I only caught this on my VISA bill that was generated today. I'm hoping the admin team that reviews my request to cancel "the capable self.com" and issue a refund will see it was never used (and it never will be, I decided I'm beyond new business adventures). I've been with IONIS (formerly 1&1) for many years with my MindMoves.com account. It's always worked well for me.

Bluehost has always been a company that has provided excellent customer service whenever I had a concern of any type, large or small. Today I contacted them about a hosting billing question. The bot asked me a few pertinent questions and then almost immediately connected me to a live agent, Hashitha, in contrast to so many companies that seem not to want to let you speak to a live person. Hashitha was courteous, polite, and very knowledgeable about Bluehost. He looked into my account and answered my questions thoroughly. He was even willing to answer follow-up questions, which led to solving a question about website URLs in my account that have puzzled me for some time. Hashitha researched my account, told me what had happened, and resolved the issue almost instantaneously by changing the URL to the one I had initially intended to use. He went above and beyond answering a simple billing question to resolving a website one. I can't thank him or Bluehost enough.

Once I reached Chat Support, the assistance was amazing! Priyanka was very patient with me as I stumbled through my own tech difficulties. At each detail, there was a problem that arose---on my end. I couldn't find this or that. My credit card had expired, etc, etc. I waffled on a three-year renewal because our website is sort of stagnant and old---and I'm old, too. (Just not stagnant.) She was incredibly helpful.

I reached out to Bluehost because ModSecurity was blocking WooCommerce REST API calls on my site and causing 406 errors. This was breaking my product sync, so I needed a real fix, not generic troubleshooting. The support rep understood the issue right away and whitelisted the correct rule. It was resolved within minutes, and everything worked once I tested it. He was polite, patient while I checked things on my end, and didn’t waste time reading from a script. Overall, a really smooth and helpful support experience.

so I am just starting to research web hosting, web design and email and at first blush godaddy appears more expensive than hostinger. i will dive deeper to see if service levels are the same and what is fine print, but on the surface for long term, hostinger seems more economical
