Good support, but only at the entry level

The person who was taking care of the issues with my site seemed to have my best interest in mind. As this issue was above his skill level he contacted the next level up to get some help. He relayed to me what he was told which really didn't make much since to me. The issue was identified and resolved, but the reason for the issue wasn't and I continue to have intermittent outages. The next level support could have escalated it again to (hopefully) understand and correct the reason for the issue. Now I need to call back and see if I can get this taken care of for the long term.

First day and up and running - Sweet!

I just signed up for my new bluehost account today. It is the basic starter plan. I wanted to migrate a wp website from another host as well as redirect and transfer my domain name. The site migration went well, not any glitches, just a matter of clicking and following the instructions. It took about an hour to migrate the site. Then I wasn't sure how to transfer the domain and redirect it so I chatted with the customer service and they did it. So easy. So far on day one I give Bluehost 5 stars!

Namecheap is the best domain registrar of all time. I've done business with countless other registrars, yet namecheap still comes out on top. Firstly, their user interface is slick and easy to navigate, allowing the user quick access to a multitude of features, making their domain journey incredibly foolproof. It's so easy a Caveman could do it. Secondly, they have a great customer service team that I've had nothing but excellent experiences with. They respond within a timely fashion and are knowledgeable about their company. Thirdly, their refund policy is the best in the business, allowing for a full 120 hours timeslot in which a domain can be refunded. The same cannot be said for 99% of other registrars. I HIGHLY recommend namecheap!

I switched to Hostinger a couple of months ago after thorough research and I'm very happy with the move. My priority when looking for a new Hosting Company was customer service and support, as well as the expected technical requirements and pricing. Hostingers platform and services are far better than the hosting services I had for the previous 14 years (with NameCheap), and their AI 'Kodee' is an excellent help. It's a very easy platform to use for someone who is well beyond being a beginner, but still nowhere near being skilled developer or coder. I wish I had looked at other hosting providers much sooner before becoming frustrated and dissatisfied with NameCheap. However now that I have started using Hostinger I can see myself be a loyal customer for just as long as I was with my previous provider.

Great support once you chat to a human and not the bot...

The initial problem had been an error on our side, not Hostingers, 2 weeks ago. I tried to sort our error immediately but could not get past the Chatbot. It told me it would sort it, but 2 weeks later it hadn't, resulting in the loss of emails etc. Today, Camilla stepped in and was amazing. She got everything sorted. Once you reach a human, Hostingers support is amazing.
