Shopify has been a transparent, reliable service with almost 100% uptime, and a very useful AI integration. Customer support/legal has been helpful for issues when they arise. Highly recommended.

just added 21 days to get first payout and the account will close for no reason and they will hold forever and if a dispute happens while they reviewing your account you can’t do shit bc they make it so when you press the link to fight it it says your account is under review or closed

Incroyable application 🫡

I'm surprised to see all the horrible reviews. But, I am more likely to review a company I am displeased with. But I've been using Shopify for 7 or 8 years now, and feel that they are the very best platform for e-commerce. They have the most robust support system, they offer a continuous stream of webinars and articles on how to do things better. I don't see another platform on the internet as built out to offer options and education and services to its customers than Shopify. It doesn't exist, as far I can tell. I wouldn't consider going elsewhere, and I've used other platforms before this.

I’ve been using Shopify to build my website and I’ve been genuinely impressed with how well the platform solves a very complicated problem. Creating a website and an online shop can quickly become technically overwhelming, but Shopify manages to make the process surprisingly accessible. The ecosystem of apps and integrations is extensive, and the platform connects easily with other tools. What stands out most to me is how well Shopify handles international aspects. Managing languages, markets, and cross-border setup is often where many platforms become difficult, but Shopify’s system for this is remarkably well thought out. I also recently had a technical issue that I likely caused myself while configuring something. The first support agent I spoke with couldn’t immediately solve it but escalated the case right away. Within about 10–15 minutes the issue was resolved with help from a higher-level support team. That kind of responsiveness makes a real difference when you’re running a site. Overall, my experience with Shopify has been extremely positive and I’m grateful for how much complexity the platform manages behind the scenes.

Great website platform when you need it - easy to use even for a luddite like myself to create a website. However, they don't tell you when your renewal comes up or what it will cost - so do keep an eye on that! Happily I was quickly refunded since I no longer have the business for which I had the site but this is not automatic - all good for my other website which I do wish to keep running but I will keep my eye on when renewals are due.

I have used godaddy on several occasions over the years. one of the reasons i keep coming back is that when you call you get a human on the phone with little to no wait time. They generally have been knowledgable and able to answer my questions.

I love having my website hosted by Squarespace. There are a lot of beautiful templates to choose from, and the plug and play concept is easy to figure out and maneuver. I love all the options that are being offered now. Including a payment portal, the calendar, a databse and so on. Customer service has been great as well.

Everything worked smoothly. No glitches. Took 5 minutes to update.

Your agent was super helpful and resolved the issue with my domain that I called about! He also assisted with an additional domain that we checked for the same set of issues. These domains are photography websites that I've had for years with Google, now with Squarespace that are hosted by SmugMug. They had worked perfectly a couple of days earlier and something happened to corrupt their DNS configurations. I am very pleased with the service and would not hesitate to have Squarespace host domains for me in the future.

I really wish I could speak with someone over the phone. Your email support has been very good and responsive, but I miss having that personal touch. I'm also really disappointed about the 20% discount code situation. As a new customer and someone just starting a homemade baking business, every dollar makes a difference. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use the code, and I was really hoping it could be honored. Thank you for your understanding!

Squarespace Support is the best! I reached out to support to extend my trial on a website I was working on. The response time was fast and smooth, and the support rep gave 14 days instead of 7 days trial extension I asked for. I was very pleased with the friendliness and speed of response.

I had to cancel my subscription. It was just past the renewal and I didn't realize it was coming up. The cancellation was easy and efficient.

One thing I really appreciated was that the email thread remained open until the issue was fully resolved. I was able to work with Squarespace over the course of a week, sharing updates and troubleshooting each step without having to start over or open new cases. In my experience, many support systems seem more focused on closing tickets than resolving problems. This was refreshingly different. Keeping the conversation together made it much easier to communicate, maintain context, and reach a successful resolution. Thank you to the Squarespace team for staying with the issue until it was safely resolved.

Single home income, it gets hard sometimes bc inflation and prices of everything are ridiculous. They approved my loan just in time, we were behind.. square seems to know I work my butt off. I like that. Thank you guys so much. I have tears writing this bc I am glad I have a merchant that looks out for my family and I. Never give up on me Square, I always pay my dues.

I have been using Square a little over 7 years. It is user friendly and easy to use. The Square loans feature is nice too. It has really helped grow my business. And Square offers American Express credit card by invite only. So look into that option if you use Square.

Ran into an issue were I had created multiple accounts and confused myself as I could not find my accounts and payments. Maria from customer service was excellent. i just sent an email to help support and she responded quickly and stayed in contact until it was resolved. Come to find out, I had just de-activated the account and didnt realize thats why i was not seeing any activity.

Absolutely love square. No issues, easy to navigate, and very helpful customer support .

I was using Clover before for my food booth that I take to events. The events would be sporadic with lots during the summer and hardly any in the winter, and yet I still paid a monthly subscription for a service regardless how much I used. And even after purchasing their expensive equipment, it was quickly outdated and I was required to purchase new equipment or pay even higher fees. Square has allowed me to expand my POS' with great devices or for my suddenly larger events, even turning my phone into a POS, with no monthly fees. Plus the addition of the KDS was a great and affordable way to make my booth more productive and increase customer satisfaction.

They do their jobs right. They are useful. Their billing is transparent. Their services operate like clockwork.

Square is awesome. Saves me time and helps keep my business running smoothly!

I spent 2 days trying to reach someone there to open an account. I can't get a response from them. If the service is that bad trying to open an account I'm afraid to see what happens if you have a problem
