Surprised to see all the negative reviews, but I have been using Shopify for almost a year now and it works like a charm. There is also a great ecosystem for support, that you can do so much with their platform

Very glad I made the switch to Shopify. It's a little more expensive but the functionality is amazing if you want to grow. App add on costs can build but it's worth it for the right apps. I find the customer service very supportive too. Thank you Shopify

Easy to use - just about to hit 100 orders in just 2 months

We just processed our 10,000th Order through Shopify. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews, but we love it. Is it perfect? No, nothing is, but it is very powerful, and I have been doing this for 4 years. I am always learning and implementing new things to make it better. It can be confusing, very confusing, but my experience with almost every issue with support has been positive. Are there things I wish I could do? I can't, yes, probably, but most of that is on me for one of two reasons: 1.) I'm not smart enough to figure it out or even ask the right questions, or 2.) I don't want to pay someone or for an app to make it work when there is a solution. The one thing new users need to understand is that it is very powerful, and you need to walk before you run. There are a ton of add-on apps to help you, but they can slowly and sneakily drain your profits. The hardest thing for me to master, and I still haven't, is Shipping. I sell luggage and ship what is basically large empty boxes. Getting the shipping correct is an issue I have yet to conquer. Lastly let me say my store is far from perfect, and isn't all that I want it to be... But it works for us... with nearly $700,000 in sales both online and in our store front... we are doing ok... B. I’ve built and hosted my website on Wix for several years. I have a computer science background and found the tools clear and intuitive, but you don’t need that level of experience to use the platform. When I’ve run into difficulties, the support team have been quite helpful. In terms of value for money, I would say it is very good.

The builder has improved dramatically since I last had a site with Wix. The editor loads a lot faster now. Lots of new features, too. Customer service is second to none.

To truly make them "pop" and break the mold, I currently have to fight the code more than I’d like. I'm not very tech savvy, but I was able to create a website that looks professional and is easy for people to navigate to learn about my services. And it is easy to update and edit as needed.

The company provides a way to do anything you'd like to do on your website. They also provide instructions or videos giving examples of how to build various parts of the site. I am not savvy at using products like Squarespace and yet was able to do just about all I needed to do.

it's really is the one stop business system. for pos, scheduling, banking, and bookkeeping. up front pricing. so even if it's a bit more in little areas it still remains a value to me. after 30 year in business i've been jacked around by hidden cost and variable card rate from one company this evens cost out with no surprises and and just works so well

I love that square offers so many modes and features, everything from banking to bookkeeping, e-commerce to brick and mortar and so much more. Having an all-in-one pos system like this is my favorite part about it. Cuts down on the need for endless apps because with square it's already here.

We use Square POS in our shop for everything at the counter. Cards, tap, cash, all go through it and the reports at the end of the day are straightforward. I like that I can quickly see sales by item and time of day from my phone. Staff picked it up fast and we rarely have issues with it.
