Very glad I made the switch to Shopify. It's a little more expensive but the functionality is amazing if you want to grow. App add on costs can build but it's worth it for the right apps. I find the customer service very supportive too. Thank you Shopify

Easy to use - just about to hit 100 orders in just 2 months

We just processed our 10,000th Order through Shopify. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews, but we love it. Is it perfect? No, nothing is, but it is very powerful, and I have been doing this for 4 years. I am always learning and implementing new things to make it better. It can be confusing, very confusing, but my experience with almost every issue with support has been positive. Are there things I wish I could do? I can't, yes, probably, but most of that is on me for one of two reasons: 1.) I'm not smart enough to figure it out or even ask the right questions, or 2.) I don't want to pay someone or for an app to make it work when there is a solution. The one thing new users need to understand is that it is very powerful, and you need to walk before you run. There are a ton of add-on apps to help you, but they can slowly and sneakily drain your profits. The hardest thing for me to master, and I still haven't, is Shipping. I sell luggage and ship what is basically large empty boxes. Getting the shipping correct is an issue I have yet to conquer. Lastly let me say my store is far from perfect, and isn't all that I want it to be... But it works for us... with nearly $700,000 in sales both online and in our store front... we are doing ok... B. Oof. Seems I'm in the minority here, but I love Shopify. I've been doing ecommerce for 20+ years, and this is by far the best store platform to start on and scale.

Addendum: issue has been resolved within 48h of publishing this review. Excellent response & customer service. I recently purchased a Wix premium subscription because it was advertised as including a free domain for the first year. After paying for the subscription, I was taken to the next page where Wix strongly encouraged me to buy a domain for a year — which I did. Only after completing that purchase and being redirected to my Wix account did I discover that I had a voucher for a free domain included with the subscription. This process is incredibly misleading. The way it is presented makes it look like buying a domain is the only way forward, when in fact the free domain voucher is buried afterward. I’m certain I’m not the only customer who has fallen into this trap. I requested a refund for the unnecessary domain purchase, but it was denied. Overall, I feel very unhappy with the experience. Wix should make their offers transparent and stop tricking customers into paying for something that is supposed to be included.

We’re building a simple site with a few common items, nothing crazy, and it’s been great. Everything runs smoothly and we’re really happy with Wix so far! It’s super easy for anyone to use, with great templates to start from. We’re a community charity too, and being able to sell online and take donations has been awesome.

Wix is outstanding. There is no other platform that makes it so easy to build sites, whilst having an abundance of features. Ok, so it doesn't have the largest app store in the world, but it genuinley has every single feaature you need to create blogs, ecommerce stores, and anything else really. And if you did want to go bespoke, I've been in code mode and you can make some really cool features by yourself plus a bit of AI help. They still need to catch up on a few things but I love that I see new features frequently. Go on Wix.

She responded immediately, collected all of the data and was able to verify that indeed the multiple emails I received were pfishing scams. Cate was professional, kind, friendly and helpful. WIX is the best plataform I've used to site building!

Have been using their platform for more that 7 8 years. Build almost 8 websites using their platform and clients were satisfied for it user friendly atmosphere. Will definitely recommend for start up copanies or entrepreneurs who are willing to start business with minumum overhead.

I have been using Go Daddy for six months now. In that time I have had two issues and one of them was a major issue between a domain and Microsoft. Go daddy went above and beyond making sure that those two issues were taken care of. Not only would I recommend GoDaddy but I already have. I helped a friend sign up and I’m confident that he made the best choice.

I was having issues with my domain name pointing to a different website source and I finally decided to contact customer service thinking that I would probably just get another bot but instead I was able to stay on the line for just about 5 minutes and a live human showed up and was able to answer my questions and even follow up with an email with written instructions on how I can complete my requests they were very helpful and kind

I had been experiencing in the past month or so some serious time constraints and issues - and had left a 1 star review - having felt abandoned as a godaddy pro. Fortunately Maggie H reached out to me and wanted to talk so that I could iron out the issues that was making me feel like I was going down a wrong way street. I am here to say that Maggie and I had our meeting today, and a gal named Chelsea popped on as well. Suffice to say we got things ironed out and I even learned a few new tips from Chelsea and I wanted to make sure I show my appreciation that I have not been abandoned and that Godaddy truly does care about their Reseller Pros. I've been using Squarespace for a while and it's been great for me. I came across this reviews page randomly and I'm shocked by the rating. Please remember that people are 99.9% likely to leave a negative review when dissatisfied and 0.01% to leave a positive review when satisfied. There are millions of people satisfied with Squarespace so don't be intimidated by this reviews.

My workplace uses Squarespace and we have had no issues with our site or the orders system as long as I can remember

I've been using Squarespace for many years and have built lots of websites with them. I saw these negative reviews today on Trust Pilot as a new client was worried when they saw them. I was quite baffled and sent Squarespace an email through their website to see how they responded. A human(!) got back to me in less than 20 minutes. I have asked SQ some really stupid questions over the years as I panicked over something or other and it was usually a internet reception issue not a them issue and they have always been helpful and polite. It's template based web service - they don't actually build it for you - but they have so many resources to help you build a great website. If the quality of your products and photographs is good and you are able to line things up you will have a website to be proud of. Some of the reviews here are outright nonsense, for example, the "payment scam" suggesting payment is taken when the trial has ended and the reviewer didn’t sign up with thousands taken out over years - Squarespace lets you take out a trial for an unlimited time. It actually says on the website 'Sign up for your free trial, no card required". I have ten websites currently on the go and have never been asked for payment details until I wanted to go live so I don't understand that at all. I've also never had an issue with overpayment or cancelling on a site. They send reminders to the email you sign up with, you can remove your card details. Also who doesn’t check their bank statements for years? I can't speak about interfaces with google - I don't use them but the other interfaces I do use work very well. Other website templates I've used haven't produced the design results I wanted and were a pain to use. I highly recommend Squarespace for the creative industries because it's really good at what it does and sites look great.

If you write an email the customer service is beyond excellent. I had to cancel an order. A real person answered. We had a back and forth because I just didn’t want to bother figuring out the link to cancel so she did it for me. Most companies that use AI will answer emails with a human. Breeze Airways doesn’t even have a phone number but my email got the result I wanted.

I especially wanted to write because I don't understand why there is negative feedback written about Squerspace The negative feedback written about Suquerspace is probably being submitted by competitor firms. For a long time I used a very famous name's web page builder, despite being a very big name, it was slow and never adjusted the mobile phone properly, an error would always occur shortly after publishing the page. Now I am very happy with Squerspace, it is fast, easy and everything is created properly. I am also happy because it has advanced design settings. Thanks Squerspace.

As a website designer, I've been using Squarespace since 2011 and love it. I've built 82 sites for clients and it continues to be the best website builder. On the rare occasion I've had to use customer service, it is always extremely prompt. For example, today a client accidentally purchased the Business Plan instead of the Personal Plan. Squarespace responded within one hour and the refund is on its way. Their support forums and help videos are always up to date and the forum community is incredible. I've used both Wordpress and Wix in the past (as have many of my clients) and they all say they prefer Squarespace because it's so user friendly.

I have built over 100’s of websites on this platform and I cannot fault it! The bad reviews just don’t make sense? Is it something that users do to break it? I am very surprised by so many bad reviews. Non of my 100 website owners ever contacted with any issues…. I think competitors paying 💰 to kill Squarespace… cause it is the best platform by far.

They have the best customer service I ever received. Reply to emails within hours ans sometimes minuts being super helpful. I just made a second website ans I am very happy. Been using it since 2018.

I just signed up for Square space. I do love the ease of creating a website. That part I'd give 5 stars. Easy and beautiful. They offered Google workspace for a yr free with my account. It worked for 2 days. Then I was told my business email was sold by them. I was locked out of my Google workspace account. So for the last 2 days I've been trying to get a response from them. Nothing is happening. (Update ) Square space got in touch and I was able to fix the problem with Google dashboard. If you can't get a response from the website reach out on fb messenger or insta. Both of the sources responded pretty quick.

First off, I'm pretty sure all the negative reviews here (as of this writing) are paid for. I found the really low Truspilot rating on a Squarespace competitor's website and was quite shocked so came here to investigate. Whenever I've contacted customer support, I've received responses within hours. On some occasions, minutes... and I've always had any problems resolved very quickly. Anyway, I've been using Squarespace since 2015 and it is hands-down the best DIY web builder out there. Some of the limitations can be annoying, but given the ease with which you can put up a website and maintain it, it's not a deal breaker. The templates are an easy springboard to get started, but you can customise them quite a bit. I'm now grandfathered into an older version and migrating to their newest one. They've been good enough to offer the difference on my remaining subscription back as a refund.

If you starting a business today or all ready have an existent business square is for you. Square helps you take all forms of payment right from your phone cash, cards, tap, cashapp, Apple Pay and more. I always tell myself: I wish I had been got square. I had square for over a year now. Square really made operating my business so easy. Before square I would miss out on sales and go to different websites to get everything I needed, but now my website, payments, inventory, customer contact and more is all within my square account.

I love the ease of having the ability to have the app on my phone as well as the user friendly capabilities of the app itself. I have never experienced any issues using Square.

I'm guessing the day of simply seeing a phone number and calling about your problem is over. Started a chat, and the problem was solved. Took several minutes but got it done.

Square had always had a great reputation and easy to use when I've been on the payment end but having it as my POS in my store is even better! The depths of the reports is great, especially how it integrates with QB and during tax time. I have used the Square Loan before and it was a true blessing when I need it. I can't comment on the customer service because it's been 1 full year since I've signed up and I've never had to call/ email/chat because I haven't ever had an issue. I'm sure that would go smoothly as well. Thanks Square!

I love being able to take payments with square, the only thing I dont care for is that its not automatically in my account and Friday amd Saturday dont go in until Monday which can be challenging at times. Other than that it had been great.

I use Square to send contracts invoices and receive payments. It simple and easy, which is great because I have a busy lifestyle. Unfortunately sometimes when events cancel I must refund fees, such an easy process with Square. I am very satisfied with Square- would highly recommend!
