Find the Right Tools to Grow Your Business

I'm surprised to see all the horrible reviews. But, I am more likely to review a company I am displeased with. But I've been using Shopify for 7 or 8 years now, and feel that they are the very best platform for e-commerce. They have the most robust support system, they offer a continuous stream of webinars and articles on how to do things better. I don't see another platform on the internet as built out to offer options and education and services to its customers than Shopify. It doesn't exist, as far I can tell. I wouldn't consider going elsewhere, and I've used other platforms before this.

I’ve been using Shopify to build my website and I’ve been genuinely impressed with how well the platform solves a very complicated problem. Creating a website and an online shop can quickly become technically overwhelming, but Shopify manages to make the process surprisingly accessible. The ecosystem of apps and integrations is extensive, and the platform connects easily with other tools. What stands out most to me is how well Shopify handles international aspects. Managing languages, markets, and cross-border setup is often where many platforms become difficult, but Shopify’s system for this is remarkably well thought out. I also recently had a technical issue that I likely caused myself while configuring something. The first support agent I spoke with couldn’t immediately solve it but escalated the case right away. Within about 10–15 minutes the issue was resolved with help from a higher-level support team. That kind of responsiveness makes a real difference when you’re running a site. Overall, my experience with Shopify has been extremely positive and I’m grateful for how much complexity the platform manages behind the scenes.

The new sidekick AI integration is really great, it can actually do changes for me. it's great! even custom code. It's a game changer. I can ask it to change products for me, and also to change website layout, its amazing seriously! now i feel like it's worth the $1300 triannual fee.

Using Shopify to sell on my e-commerce website. Honestly all good. Coding in liquid can be tough, but the integrations and API are perfect. MUCH better than Wix. If you hesitate between Wix and Shopify just go with Shopify 100% (I tried both for 2 different e-commerce shops)

I have used Shopify as a web business platform for several years, and have also bought items from other Shopify stores. I have a really hard time believing these low reviews. As a business owner I find the site platform is easy to use and setup, and cost effective. Its important that you set realistic ship times and communicate with your customer if you are going to be late shipping, realistic return policy and never promise more than you can deliver. As a customer I have found that when problems occur its the business not Shopify. Just my thoughts.

I couldn't believe it when I've actually gone into shopifys videos and saw how many people that have become anterprniors from shopify and I too would like tobecome after 20 years of searching I give them a five star and would eventually like to have my own business set up out there it's called Marketing Business Stragedy look forward to your reply I've never felt so good im 66 years old but I'm not giving up not now or ever

Awesome platform that is getting way too much hate for no reason. The shops work great and make sooo many processes easier, especially payment, that are not available with any other store provider.

Surprised to see all the negative reviews, but I have been using Shopify for almost a year now and it works like a charm. There is also a great ecosystem for support, that you can do so much with their platform

I love that I can have everything on my site. I am a somatic movement and yoga studio online, and I am able to book, sell digital products, gather email lists, and so much more. Building my site was seamless and all the integrations are so helpful.

We are new users on the app as tour operator in Africa. So far what we like is the real time analyst of site visits, the Google ads have given us some visit with over 70k impressions with over 20k clicks we re hopefully that soon books are soon coming through. We also added our hotel on the some site with a channel manager with over many OTAs so we can manage our reservations back end avoiding double bookings which was different from our different site which needed us to have a separate site which required paying for a channel manager. We have automated also AI to respond to also clients visiting the site giving guests instructions on how to navigate the site so that they get when they get to the site

Wix has been absolutely amazing. I have ZERO experience in website design or anything technological really, and while it may not be the absolute best website on the internet, the website I was able to create using this application, is fully functional and has met all my needs. Wix is awesome , its so easy to use and it has so many robust features that do not need a professinal to use. All the complex marketing features are so simple to use, it is cost effective and very powerful.

Per my previous review, I was contacted directly by a representative from Wix.com. During our conversation, I was able to clearly explain that my concern was not about avoiding payment, but simply about refunding the original credit card that I intended to replace and charging the updated card already on file. As a customer of Wix.com for over 8 years, I appreciated the opportunity to finally have the situation fully understood. The representative reviewed the matter and processed the refund to the original card. I then used my updated credit card on file to purchase the premium services again. My concern has now been properly resolved. Thank you for taking the time to listen to a long-term customer and for correcting the issue. That level of resolution deserves a 5-star update.

In spite of the difficulties of doing so I have just transfered one of my web sites to webador and emails to fasthosts and the other one will go in April. Following the taking of money from my account using my bank card which is well documented and undefended where I took wix to the small claims court and won back the money they stole, there is no way on earth where we would be prepared to continue any form of relationship with wix. I found the webador web site even easier to create any way. It now cost zero for the two email addresses with fasthost as they included two for free with the domain name. It is better for us to control our domain names like this than to by over charged for emails.

I am so glad Stickeroo Club is using Wix! It’s great to have my web design and payment collection all under one hood. I would highly recommend Wix because it was very intuitive to design the website.

This is the second Band website we've done. We were unhappy with the previous host, but Squarespace has been great. Of course, there's always a learning curve with creating a website with a new host, but you're help section has been terrific, and partcicularly, the videos. We're still working on various aspects of our basic site, but once that's done, our Art Director is going to look it over and perhaps improve some things. It's a process!

My entire business is run online and payments through Square. The payment links were easy to create and upload to my CRM platform. I used another payment system for over 10 years and it was never as easy as Square has been. When I rebranded in 2024, I chose to move to Square based on a recommendation from another small business person. I am glad I listened! Customer services is fast and easy. And the fees are fair.
