I was having trouble with a terrible company that misled mean item and being very difficult if impossible to give me a refund without posting the item at own expense to china…( not Alteringham where it came from!) I contacted shopify and within an hour a refund has been raised…so glad and relieved..we’ll done shopify Helen

A lot of these negative reviews are about poor experiences with companies that use Shopify's platform. It's up to everyone to research any unknown company you do business on-line with, no matter who the site is hosted by. As a retailer, I could not be happier with how easy it is for a smaller on-line company to integrate different functions. Shopify has been a lifesaver for us and our revenue has grown considerably at a reasonable cost

Shopify is a commerce platform that you can trust. Their AI, Sidekick, is user friendly. It does not go in circles like AI Tom from Sellvia. The store owner is in total control. From finding the right suppliers to setting up payment system, to complex website designs, Shopify got them all. Shopify is upfront and direct with their fee structures. There is no surprises and no hidden fees like Sellvia. Their setup is straight forward and simple. You do not need programing at all. IMO it deserve be nominated for Best Ecommerce Platform of 2026 Award.

Great website builder, but could be better on mobile I’ve been building my small business website with Wix and overall I’ve been really impressed with how easy it is to create a professional-looking site without needing any coding experience. The templates and design options are excellent, and I’ve been able to create a website for my candle business that looks professional and works well for customers. However, there are some frustrating limitations when using Wix on mobile. Some things that are straightforward on desktop can be difficult to find or edit through the mobile app, particularly when managing menus, products and categories. The monthly cost is also something to consider for a small business, especially once you start adding different features and services. Overall, I’m happy with Wix and it has allowed me to get my business online relatively easily. I’d just like to see a better mobile editing experience and more flexibility for smaller businesses.

The thing that made my experience great was Giovanni who was my customer service representative made everything work and was terrific!

When i got to the third person (Jason) my problem was resolved. When my call got dropped I thought "oh no not again". But Jason called back twice. 2 prior "Godaddy guides" did not. Jason seemed more knowledgeable than the others and in less time figured out my problem. He was also the only one that asked for the details of the error message. Kudos to Godaddy for having people like Jason!

I created my website with Squarespace in a very short time. The layouts are brilliant and so many to choose from. So many presets to use. Squarespace are also improving all the time with additional features and updates.

Quickly referred to the correct agent. They had access to account but information that meant efficient resolution. They were patient when my first attempt to cancel something did not happen.

They do payments, but the new AI tools that are coming out and the new changes, have made Square my personal operating system for my business. There are new features each week, and when I compared my processing rates, if I had to pay for all of the marketing and tools, I would be paying more to use someone like stripe. Very happy now since 2017.

I spent 2 days trying to reach someone there to open an account. I can't get a response from them. If the service is that bad trying to open an account I'm afraid to see what happens if you have a problem
