Incroyable application 🫡

I'm surprised to see all the horrible reviews. But, I am more likely to review a company I am displeased with. But I've been using Shopify for 7 or 8 years now, and feel that they are the very best platform for e-commerce. They have the most robust support system, they offer a continuous stream of webinars and articles on how to do things better. I don't see another platform on the internet as built out to offer options and education and services to its customers than Shopify. It doesn't exist, as far I can tell. I wouldn't consider going elsewhere, and I've used other platforms before this.

I’ve been using Shopify to build my website and I’ve been genuinely impressed with how well the platform solves a very complicated problem. Creating a website and an online shop can quickly become technically overwhelming, but Shopify manages to make the process surprisingly accessible. The ecosystem of apps and integrations is extensive, and the platform connects easily with other tools. What stands out most to me is how well Shopify handles international aspects. Managing languages, markets, and cross-border setup is often where many platforms become difficult, but Shopify’s system for this is remarkably well thought out. I also recently had a technical issue that I likely caused myself while configuring something. The first support agent I spoke with couldn’t immediately solve it but escalated the case right away. Within about 10–15 minutes the issue was resolved with help from a higher-level support team. That kind of responsiveness makes a real difference when you’re running a site. Overall, my experience with Shopify has been extremely positive and I’m grateful for how much complexity the platform manages behind the scenes.

The new sidekick AI integration is really great, it can actually do changes for me. it's great! even custom code. It's a game changer. I can ask it to change products for me, and also to change website layout, its amazing seriously! now i feel like it's worth the $1300 triannual fee.

Using Shopify to sell on my e-commerce website. Honestly all good. Coding in liquid can be tough, but the integrations and API are perfect. MUCH better than Wix. If you hesitate between Wix and Shopify just go with Shopify 100% (I tried both for 2 different e-commerce shops)

Price must be highly competitive too. All campaigns and businesses start with zero and build so a great website and tolls make that possible. Wix have resolved an issue I had with them. I really appreciate when companies do this because sometimes we don't receive emails informing us of change. Sometimes we think that an expired card won't lead to a subscription renewal. I love my Wix website. It allows me to do everything a big business would do. It helps me keep up with social media posts automatically-I just tweak because I’m that way. I can send a quote and request a deposit. Create and send invoices. I’ve got a point of sale that I can use with tap and pay on my phone or the separate card reader. Ricardo gave me instructions. I did it. He was sent back info he requested. While he was addressing the request, my phone disconnected the phone. Perhaps a system can be created in a certain amount of time I could reconnect to 1st person working on the issue of disconnected.

Chad was excellent, he was patient, kept his cool while I was not always cool. Solved my problems and recommended very appropriately.

It was a pleasant experience however, the Agent I did the PIS sign up was not helpful. She was not willing to go an extra mile. I have a business, no matter what I strongly advise my people to be extra accommodating and put themselves in the customer’s shoes. I ended up having an unwanted subscription that I was billed for. I called customer service and jay promptly canceled the subscription and issued a refund. Before I even got off the phone paypal emailed me with a refund notice. The whole call lasted around 4 minutes. Now that's awesome customer service.

Making a new website on your platform was extremely simple. As soon as I figured out that the squares were the grid, my work was easy to accomplish. When I needed help from customer service, I was in contact with Dwight and Harry. They were both amazing people - so very kind and willing to help. I truly appreciate them both. I am happy to say I’m done making the website I needed! I will certainly tell other people about Squarespace.

This is the second time I have had to ask for help, and on both occasions, the people who helped me did so with respect and expertise. In fact, the second time, I was passed on to a more experienced attendant, the first admitting that my request required someone with more experience. That is a good call to make.

I've built dozens of sites on Squarespace as a professional designer and it holds up. The CSS/code injection and fluid engine give you enough control to produce work that looks nothing like an out-of-the-box build. The Circle program is a genuine business tool, not an afterthought. Trial extensions, referral rewards, early feature access and an incredibly supportive community make a real difference day to day. Client handovers are smooth because the editor is intuitive enough that they don't need hand-holding after launch. Best balance of design quality and maintainability for service-based businesses.
