Best very useful

I have used Shopify as a web business platform for several years, and have also bought items from other Shopify stores. I have a really hard time believing these low reviews. As a business owner I find the site platform is easy to use and setup, and cost effective. Its important that you set realistic ship times and communicate with your customer if you are going to be late shipping, realistic return policy and never promise more than you can deliver. As a customer I have found that when problems occur its the business not Shopify. Just my thoughts.

I couldn't believe it when I've actually gone into shopifys videos and saw how many people that have become anterprniors from shopify and I too would like tobecome after 20 years of searching I give them a five star and would eventually like to have my own business set up out there it's called Marketing Business Stragedy look forward to your reply I've never felt so good im 66 years old but I'm not giving up not now or ever

Awesome platform that is getting way too much hate for no reason. The shops work great and make sooo many processes easier, especially payment, that are not available with any other store provider.

Surprised to see all the negative reviews, but I have been using Shopify for almost a year now and it works like a charm. There is also a great ecosystem for support, that you can do so much with their platform

Very glad I made the switch to Shopify. It's a little more expensive but the functionality is amazing if you want to grow. App add on costs can build but it's worth it for the right apps. I find the customer service very supportive too. Thank you Shopify

Easy to use - just about to hit 100 orders in just 2 months

We just processed our 10,000th Order through Shopify. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews, but we love it. Is it perfect? No, nothing is, but it is very powerful, and I have been doing this for 4 years. I am always learning and implementing new things to make it better. It can be confusing, very confusing, but my experience with almost every issue with support has been positive. Are there things I wish I could do? I can't, yes, probably, but most of that is on me for one of two reasons: 1.) I'm not smart enough to figure it out or even ask the right questions, or 2.) I don't want to pay someone or for an app to make it work when there is a solution. The one thing new users need to understand is that it is very powerful, and you need to walk before you run. There are a ton of add-on apps to help you, but they can slowly and sneakily drain your profits. The hardest thing for me to master, and I still haven't, is Shipping. I sell luggage and ship what is basically large empty boxes. Getting the shipping correct is an issue I have yet to conquer. Lastly let me say my store is far from perfect, and isn't all that I want it to be... But it works for us... with nearly $700,000 in sales both online and in our store front... we are doing ok... B. Wix is a pretty simple platform to navigate and there's a lot of support documentation to find answers to questions as they arise. The pricing for non-profits is pretty good and the platform is reliable.

It helped that I used other web builder apps before trying Wix. Like all apps, it takes bit to learn the basics for set-up and account details, but once I was ready to design our site, it was very easy yet able to do pretty complex things (at least complex to this non-techie user). I am now spoiled on the design capabilities of Wix. When I try and do simple docs and flyers using Word, I wish I had the flexibility and power of the Wix tools at my disposal. Wix, Please don't use AI to respond to my posts!!! It gives a false impression of your customer service. And I was prompted repeatedly by email to offer my review.

I originally tried to have AI create a draft of the website (it did not go well). After multiple tries, I finally got into the manual editor and created it myself. I must say I am pleasantly surprised with all of the features. I appreciate the step by step setup process as well as the integrations with Google and payment processors. I have gotten a lot of compliments on the website and am looking forward to using Wix for the long term.

I was directed toward Squarespace by an online video describing a number of website design tools and the young lady recommended Squarespace. So I had a practice, learnt from many online tutorials and also Squarespace's own help and produced a brilliant website in a little over a week. Now, you can't expect to just jump in and build a website in a minute or two, you need to learn how the whole lot works. You have your website hosted by Squarespace and they'll provide email as well at extra cost (I use my own hosting service from another provider where all my mail is managed) but I'm sure there system is as good. Actually designing and building is so easy but FIRST do it on paper, set out what pages you need and sketch them out, this'll save you a ton of time. Once in there start messing around and I can tell you it is so so easy to get your pages looking great. And what I learnt as I went along was that you can design for PC Tablet and phone as you go. I am so impressed by how my site now looks. As for customer service, yes, it does take a while to get to email support but it does work and they are so so helpful, solving a number of issues I had along the way. So for someone looking for a straightforward website that can be up and running quite quickly I would definitely recommend Squarespace. I tried Wordpress but that is a serious learning curve, leave that for the pro web designers.

I have been using Square as long as they have been available in Canada. As a small business/sole proprietor it is an excellent product/company to use to accept credit and debit cards. I have never had any issues being paid. You can even offer gift cards!
