Shopify has been a transparent, reliable service with almost 100% uptime, and a very useful AI integration. Customer support/legal has been helpful for issues when they arise. Highly recommended.

just added 21 days to get first payout and the account will close for no reason and they will hold forever and if a dispute happens while they reviewing your account you can’t do shit bc they make it so when you press the link to fight it it says your account is under review or closed

I'm surprised to see all the horrible reviews. But, I am more likely to review a company I am displeased with. But I've been using Shopify for 7 or 8 years now, and feel that they are the very best platform for e-commerce. They have the most robust support system, they offer a continuous stream of webinars and articles on how to do things better. I don't see another platform on the internet as built out to offer options and education and services to its customers than Shopify. It doesn't exist, as far I can tell. I wouldn't consider going elsewhere, and I've used other platforms before this.

I’ve been using Shopify to build my website and I’ve been genuinely impressed with how well the platform solves a very complicated problem. Creating a website and an online shop can quickly become technically overwhelming, but Shopify manages to make the process surprisingly accessible. The ecosystem of apps and integrations is extensive, and the platform connects easily with other tools. What stands out most to me is how well Shopify handles international aspects. Managing languages, markets, and cross-border setup is often where many platforms become difficult, but Shopify’s system for this is remarkably well thought out. I also recently had a technical issue that I likely caused myself while configuring something. The first support agent I spoke with couldn’t immediately solve it but escalated the case right away. Within about 10–15 minutes the issue was resolved with help from a higher-level support team. That kind of responsiveness makes a real difference when you’re running a site. Overall, my experience with Shopify has been extremely positive and I’m grateful for how much complexity the platform manages behind the scenes.

When I started building The Harbour Library I had no web development experience, a very limited budget and a vision that felt bigger than my technical ability to execute it. Wix changed that. The Harbour Library is now a free multilingual virtual bibliotherapy library with hundreds of books across ten collections, available in English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and German, serving young people globally. Easy to use and maintain. I was a developer for many years and previously wrote a website in HTML and then maintains one written in a major web development language. This was no fun and when I looked to rewrite two websites, I chose WIX so that I wouldn't have to write any code. I WOULD like a streaming banner for the main page and wish WIX would make one available. When I need this sort of a feature, I put ugly stuff on the main page of the website. Gimme a streaming banner, please.

She took the time to understand why I wanted to cancel my domain and listened carefully to my concerns. Instead of simply accepting my request, she offered alternative solutions that better met my needs. Her patience, professionalism, and willingness to help made all the difference. What is this company doing well? GoDaddy is doing an excellent job of providing customer-focused service. Their representative was knowledgeable, attentive, and solution-oriented. I got a person who spoke English. He took care of the problem quickly with no issues. Usually customer care calls are a headache. Not so in this case.

Customer service is all about fixing the problems that come our way as business owners in as positive a way as we can and Go Daddy seems to have trained their personnel perfectly. Every time I call with an issue on one of my products they are happy to walk me through the steps on how to solve the problem.

Squarespace's AI chatbot is not particularly helpful. But if you do ask to chat with a human, as I did, the service is excellent. I had billing questions regarding multiple client websites, and the rep truly cared about getting me answers. I didn't feel rushed, and all my questions were answered fully.

Square is good and very fast. I'm happy I'm able to make sales even when the device is offline. Square also offer financial support by offering to lend money to help clients grow thier business. As little as the sum is, its a kind gesture. I don't regret using square.

I have been using Square a little over 7 years. It is user friendly and easy to use. The Square loans feature is nice too. It has really helped grow my business. And Square offers American Express credit card by invite only. So look into that option if you use Square.

Ran into an issue were I had created multiple accounts and confused myself as I could not find my accounts and payments. Maria from customer service was excellent. i just sent an email to help support and she responded quickly and stayed in contact until it was resolved. Come to find out, I had just de-activated the account and didnt realize thats why i was not seeing any activity.

I spent 2 days trying to reach someone there to open an account. I can't get a response from them. If the service is that bad trying to open an account I'm afraid to see what happens if you have a problem
