Awesome platform that is getting way too much hate for no reason. The shops work great and make sooo many processes easier, especially payment, that are not available with any other store provider.

Surprised to see all the negative reviews, but I have been using Shopify for almost a year now and it works like a charm. There is also a great ecosystem for support, that you can do so much with their platform

Very glad I made the switch to Shopify. It's a little more expensive but the functionality is amazing if you want to grow. App add on costs can build but it's worth it for the right apps. I find the customer service very supportive too. Thank you Shopify

Easy to use - just about to hit 100 orders in just 2 months

We just processed our 10,000th Order through Shopify. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews, but we love it. Is it perfect? No, nothing is, but it is very powerful, and I have been doing this for 4 years. I am always learning and implementing new things to make it better. It can be confusing, very confusing, but my experience with almost every issue with support has been positive. Are there things I wish I could do? I can't, yes, probably, but most of that is on me for one of two reasons: 1.) I'm not smart enough to figure it out or even ask the right questions, or 2.) I don't want to pay someone or for an app to make it work when there is a solution. The one thing new users need to understand is that it is very powerful, and you need to walk before you run. There are a ton of add-on apps to help you, but they can slowly and sneakily drain your profits. The hardest thing for me to master, and I still haven't, is Shipping. I sell luggage and ship what is basically large empty boxes. Getting the shipping correct is an issue I have yet to conquer. Lastly let me say my store is far from perfect, and isn't all that I want it to be... But it works for us... with nearly $700,000 in sales both online and in our store front... we are doing ok... B. GoDaddy messed up a website plan, though they did give me a better plan, hopefully, and then tried to work somethings out with my Website to get it back up and running - and it was a nightmare. However, Toni came to the rescue. It took Toni to make it happen. I love using GoDaddy but apart from Toni, and the people that worked with her on this issue, the experience was not wonderful. However, I've been with GoDaddy for over 20 years and this is the first time I've experienced something like this. So I can't complain too much.

I’ve seen tremendous growth in their customer experience over the last 10 years. Today I was blown away with how they helped me compared to a bad experience I had 10 years ago. I felt like they really cared about my needs it was very refreshing. Many internet based businesses tend to fall off after getting their money but not Godaddy. I’m still mad about the incident 10 years ago though lol.

The customer rep, Josh, knew what to do. Without hesitation after my description, he stepped me through the process to change the setting that was causing the issue I had run into. Great job!

I contacted GoDaddy about a refund. I thought it would be a long drawn out process. However, Gabriel was very friendly and helpful and I was able to get the full refund I requested. Gabriel was very clear stepping me through the whole process and I was very pleased with the outcome. No hassel at all.

I think presently Inhave been using Squarespace for my website since late September? That is when I signed up after the trial. I am learning how to do things on the site as I go. Just recently got my business license and new permit. I am an artist. I am planning on selling online. So far so good. When I have a question, it’s pretty easy to look up the answers online and go from there as Squarespace is well known. Hoping to have my shop ready to go by end of this month. No real complaints as of today. I was with SiteSell, but found it very challenging, as well as fees going up. So, I remember trying out Squarespace a few years back and it being a decent experience.

It’s very user friendly. There are a lot of templates to get started with, but then it’s also really easy to go off script and create your own page. There are plenty of fonts and I love coming up with my own color schemes. I’ve changed my web site a million times since September, so I feel like I know it pretty well and I now know a lot about Squarespace and how to navigate it. It’s really been a joy!

I have had a Square Register POS account for well over 10 years now and it has been a great asset. The inception of the service was ingenious as it made possible the transaction of credit or debit card payments between individuals and made Point Of Sale service available to small businesses. This made a higher volume of sales possible to the small business and made the products and services offered by small businesses convenient to a larger number of customers. As for the individual, whether it was Girl Scout cookies or a garage sale, Square made it possible for credit and debit cards to be used and thus created more possibilities for success. I own and operate a small business that is service oriented i.e. I do not have a brick and mortar location, my business is mobile. Square has innovated consistently over the years and present day, offers a full array of features for any kind of business. I use a basic free account without add-ons presently and I have my business bank account set up with Square as well. A "free" account still pays service fees for card transactions but they are and have always been nominal when compared to the merchant fees charged through numerous other POS systems and banks. The business bank account is an online account that offers full features. The "Banking" side of Square is done through Sutton Bank which is the (I believe) single location brick and mortar base that is required by law (UCC/USC) for "banking" services to be rendered but there are no brick and mortar Square bank locations. However... there are no fees either and when they say that, it is absolutely true based on my empirical evidence. Check deposits take 6 business days to post and are done as "Mobile" deposits using the Square Register phone app just as you would with another bank account. Being composite with the POS account, when card payments are made, the funds are available in my Square business account within about 15 minutes. Square loans work by way of offers Square will present based on transactions you are doing e.g. how much money you are taking in through a period of time and the "interest" portion does not accrue. The "interest" on a Square loan is a percentage of the amount being loaned and you will never pay back any more than the principal plus the percentage of it that is the "interest" on it. When a loan offer is made, you can also choose a lesser amount e.g. if Square offers you $1000, you could choose $300 and as you change the amount you wish to accept, the "interest" figure is calculated and shown to you... it is a fast, easy and fair way to borrow a few bucks for your business. You can issue checks from your Square business account, the check is created using the app or dashboard online from a desktop/laptop computer (you just log into your Square POS account for access to everything) and then you print it and do whatever you need to do with it from there. The savings accounts offered with a Square business banking account are as easy to set up as clicking on it, naming it and setting the features. One feature that I use is this: I have a savings account for Vehicle Maintenance and one for Taxes. I have set a percentage on each of these which in turn, delivers said percentage of each card payment I receive to each account respectively. This has allowed me to automate the funding of these accounts and thus has made my accounting a whole lot easier... the funds populate on their own and are there as/when I need them. The wrap up here is this, and I get nothing out of writing this review... I don't work for Square, I am not being paid etc. Square was the first of its kind, the "me too" services that followed were seizing upon the opportunity of an idea what's time had come and an invention that was long overdue. The other small business/mobile-capable POS systems are likely very nice and multi functional but for me, I have not had any desire to consider other services because I have found that Square offers more functionality options and features by subscription than my business can even use e.g. menu ordering and inventory tracking features for restaurants or resellers/retailers, Square is fully secure... Square meets my needs as a business and is safe for the people who pay me for my services. The customer service portion is well put together and it is fairly easy to find answers to questions and to get help when you need it. I highly recommend Square Register, I recommend that you go to their website: squarup.com and look around at what they offer.

I LOVE THIS REGISTER! I knew I trusted my guts when I was purchasing a good register and it was square that I can trust. By organizing your items to payment methods and all: never better. Since of January 1st when I first opened my business to now (almost a year) square have always been helpful and with its perks everything is easier.
