A bad situation resolved with a great live chat rep
First I will say that the reason for my live chat was due to a previous chat agent's assurance he had corrected a mistake made with my bill once Network Solutions replaced iPage as my hosting company. We were told the take over would be seamless and I didn't need to do anything, but I was charged hundreds more until they supposedly corrected the billing problem. I was on autopay, but what I didn't realize is in the meantime the cc on file had been replaced with a new card # and I was never notified that my payment didn't go thru and the company would be deleting my website and account. This rep today found the issues and was able to reinstate my website and give me the same rate and plan I had previously been on. Unfortunately it will take several days to reinstate. I'm so relieved.

Yesterday I called concerning several questions regarding the annual renewal and monthly billing. I mistakenly directed myself to "Accounts". I spoke with Steven who was extremely helpful. But once I correctly explained the purpose of the call, he explained that my questions would be best answered by "Billings". Steven transferred my call to "Billings" where I spoke with Ron for possibly over 30 minutes. He was knowledgeable and extremely patient answering my repeated questions. We walked through a few different scenarios how to address my situation. He was actually 'more' than helpful, which I very much appreciated. FYI ... at the end of the call I was directed to a recording to take a 'survey' of my experience. For whatever reason, despite my repeated responses, none of my numerical entries were received. So I am VERY glad to have received an email to participate in this survey

A GREAT Webhosting Company
Blue Host/Host Gator is the best web hosting company I've been with. When I have an issue with Tech Support, there has NEVER been a time I have not gotten the support I needed as well as the SOLUTION to my problem. When there is a complicated problem, I've had a supervisor or several supervisors step in when the "front line" is unable to solve the issue. I've read in the reviews when someone is unhappy because their issue didn't get resolved. What I have found is that because I'm a "hands on" owner regarding my website, I know EXACTLY how to explain the situation. I'm not relying on someone else who possibly put together my site and I have no clue as to how it came together and what it going on. At the end of the day, my website is my "baby" and I want to know the hiccups it has and how I can fix it. No one should know your website better than you, the owner. HostGator, who merged with or in the process of merging, was whom I started with and they really are the best! After dealing with a company who didn't help with issues and always wanted $$$$ for every little change or different issues, I found a winner. Now that HostGator has merged. I STILL get the SAME kind of assistance I got with HostGator. Bluehost, you're amazing!!
