For years, I've maintained a website, domain email, multiple domains and more with GoDaddy. Their customer service is excellent - easy to get to a human. And when you get someone like Shawn that I worked with today - all the stars align. Tech savvy, dollar savvy, understood how all works, patient and I felt like he had my back. I've not compared much due to my satisfaction and trust with the products/service. Sometimes I think it's a bit expensive but in the end - I have what I need without headaches.

We have about 24 different services in place and each one had a different expiration date. The agent went through each one with me and explained exactly what the service provided. We also had expiration dates from this month to 2023. The agent offered a way to consolidate these to a single date and offered a significant discount.

I'm guessing it's like any other company? I got my domain name through them so I can learn coding with it. (Through a self paced to learn program that is seperate from getting the domain) Pretty cool that a domain is so affordable, once finding the right place to purchase. There's so many companies that will give you a "free domain" but they charge a monthly fee to use their website builder program. So, if you don't need the builder then you don't need anything but your domain... instead, type into the search bar "most affordable place to get a domain name" this one should be right there... I initially chose this company only cuz it was cheap and figured "oh well if it doesn't work cuz it was at least crazy cheap so I'm not out much." Well, oddly enough, and to my pleasant surprise actually, everything went to plan and it's still cheap... no reason to go out and pay extra every single month for shopify to build a basic landing site, then u get stuck paying for the website builder even after its built....that is if u can teach yourself how to build it, only thing u need is your annual domain cost, no builder cuz YOU are the builder instead, and this company will be the best one for the price you pay, trust me!

I've been with Namecheap for my webhosting (9 sites) and domains for almost 6 years. I had trialled many other webhosts before them, since 2004. But Namecheap has been fabulous! Great prompt 24/7 Customer Service in Chats are ideal for me in Australia. Really patient staff who resolve any questions. Wonderfully clean, open interface in my Namecheap dash where I have the power to manage everything myself, from payments to DNS changes (plus cPanel). Very easy! Great Knowledge Base and Guru Guides, with videos, to enhance my personal control and understanding (while the internet becomes more complex with each year). I appreciate the extremely strong security built into the system. And as a small business I was grateful for the 50% discount in hosting for the first year in 2020. I'm on their 2nd tier SharedHosting "Stellar Plus" Plan, and it has never lagged. (I feel like I have a dedicated server.) Pricing still manages to be lower than most with more included—a very generous company. I also have a free CDN, free Privacy on my doimains, and I feel like I have a strong business partner and team with me via Namecheap. I'm very, very happy after all the nightmares I'd experienced elsewhere. I highly recommend Namecheap for polished professionalism and steady (not radical!) incremental improvements throughout their company: the Kaizen principle!

I was having a major issue with my new domain, aproof.ai. I was getting an "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE" and my SSL certificate wasn't working, even though I had everything set up in cPanel. I reached out to support and they were incredibly fast—the agent replied in just 12 minutes! They identified the DNS and SSL mismatch immediately and fixed everything. Now my website is working perfectly. Namecheap continues to be the best for hosting and domains. Great job!

Easy beginner hosting site. Everything is easy to find, clearly explained with modular cost models. You don't have to buy more than you need or are comfortable with. Low pressure to upgrade which keeps the focus on building a good site.
