Network Solutions Renewal
The usual renewal process made easier than it often has been thanks to Richmond, who was a pleasure to work with. As has been par for the process, the first person I spoke with was offering a absurdly high prices that no knowledgeable person would accept. Declining those always leads to a rep with the ability to look for promos. Richmond did that and came up with numbers just a wee bit higher than I might have gotten elsewhere, which didn't justify moving the domain. He also spoke clearly and I never had to repeat myself. Congratulations Network Solutions; you've got a solid employee in Richmond.

Eileen, my Customer Service Rep was very helpful, patient, polite, knowledgeable. There was a problem with my cell phone at the end of the call, preventing her from hearing me, although I could still hear her. I actually called back and spoke to a second agent, Cal, to explain all of that. He was also very helpful, friendly, polite, and knowledgeable, but I accidentally hung up at the end of the call, instead of waiting to complete the review of my call with him.

The associate was patient, understanding and calm. I was not. I had a thirty or forty minute wait, I used speaker phone blaring awful filler music that drove me crazy. I was unable to do other work while I waited. PLEASE OFFER THE OPTION OF SILENCE.

Ethical and Professional Service With Migration & Billing
I chose to migrate to another webhost/domain manager due to the minimal size of my webspace demands and the opportunity to acquire a Canadian host for a significantly lower cost. Even though I disengaged Network Solutions 'Auto Renew' feature, I was billed 580.00 Cdn for a year of hosting that was the reason for my migration. Ron, the NS agent, totally corrected this situation with understanding, professionalism and sincere courtesy and I am grateful that such humanity is present when dealing with problems like this even though I was leaving a long association with the company, Network Solutions, he was representing.
