He was very deceptive and acting like he couldn't do anything. Beaware of this guy... make sure you talk to the right representative because there are some who are really good .

I've purchased domains and had my sites hosted at various places over the years since 2003, including: 2001-2004 - FreeWebTown and similar free hosts (no domains, only free subdomains) 2004-2007 - HostMonster 2007-2009 - HostGator 2009-2018 - 1&1 by Ionos However, Namecheap is the only one that has consistently been great and never let me down. They are the only host and domain provider that I've stayed with ever since making an account with them. Ionos used to be called 1&1, and that's what they were going by when I was using them. As soon as they changed to 1&1 by Ionos, everything started going down the drain with them. They removed cPanel and only offered an extremely limited Control Panel that doesn't really let you do anything at all. Ionos offers you the ability to buy domains ($17.95 per year) and hosting ($12 to $30 per month) for only $1 each (per month for the hosting, but only for the first year), but then they fail to mention how ridiculously HIGH the price goes UP at the time of renewal after that year is up. I started with my websites on free hosts, like FreeWebTown, and eventually moved to HostMonster. When I saw HostGator's yearly deal in 2007, I switched to them, but by 2009, every single website hosted by them that used only HTML4 and CSS was hacked and destroyed. And I had to find another host--again. That's when I finally found WordPress in 2009 and moved to 1&1 (now known as Ionos Evolution). But, as mentioned above, when 1&1 became Ionos in 2018, everything went to crap with them too. That's when I finally found Namecheap, and I have been so happy with their services ever since. My domains, hosting, and domain email are ALL with Namecheap. Every time I need to contact support (unlike Ionos' phone-only support), Namecheap has only live chat and email tickets, which are a million times better and faster for me. I have extreme trouble talking on phones, so I was never able to contact Ionos' support, and when I sent them emails requesting support, they never resolved anything, and they made excuses for why they couldn't have any other kind of support available. In contrast to Ionos, I love that I can start a live support chat at Namecheap, and it only takes 5 to 45 minutes (depending on the issue) to resolve any issues I'm having, which are extremely rare. Namecheap's support staff is so helpful, quick, and understanding. I recently (today!) upgraded my hosting from Stellar to Stellar Plus, and back in November, I renewed my domain's SSL with them for five more years. Namecheap has been the ONLY domain and hosting service to never let me down. I've always given them 5 stars when completing a live support chat with them. And now I'm giving them 5 stars on Trustpilot.

Hostinger is the best and only reliable choice in the Hosting market. It had the best infrastructure, the best quality and yes, the best support system in place. Like Multiple Service support staff (especially John) always give the right, prompt and up-to-the-mark assistance, no time wasted and no foolish questions. Choose Hostinger for the quality, reliability, and support. The only thing I think Hostinger needs to change is its approach: offer the best discount first, then charge almost twice the price at renewal. Many customers are shocked when they hear about these renewal charges and ask me to switch to other alternatives. This happens to me multiple times, and it's costing Hostinger business. And developers and agencies kept away from Hostinger.
