Excellent Customer Service

For starters, he was very pleasant to speak with. Very patient with me and my lack of understanding. He was very knowledgeable of the products that IONOS has to offer and the ability to break it down for someone like me that doesn’t really understand these things that much. While explaining everything to me, he spoke to me as if he was speaking, though a personal friend of his, and was only interested in making sure that I understood everything he was explaining to me.

I was miss led by staff on 2 different occasions, Tuesday and on Thursday. Twice they claimed the problems were resolved but was not .The agent spoke with today finally fixed the issues.

I have had many interactions with Network Solution techs on several different issues. With every interaction the techs have been great. Very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. All, but one, issue was resolved in one contact. The one issue that was not initially resolved required closing everything, clearing out browser history, etc. and then coming back online to finish up the needed changes. This issue was something that I knew would not resolved in session.

First of all, this review is based on my one interaction with a customer service/ renewal expert representative named Neil. Today, I called the company in an effort to navigate the new online control center & receive answers to my growing questions in regards to the new transfer to Network Solutions. Neil was very pleasant, approachable, knowledgeable, and patient! He took the time to listen to my concerns and even investigate to provide realistic expectations. For over 2 years now, I have not been able to reach my former website hosts by phone to talk to an actual person. They only offered online chat. So, I appreciate the option to speak with Neil today via phone. I am very pleased with Neil's demeanor, transparency, and willingness to help. This eased my initial concerns regarding another transfer from my original Fatcow website host. I do not know yet how the transition will impact my current (15 year old Fatcow turned IPage now Network Solutions) business website (s), or pricing going forward since the transfer only took place 4 days ago at the time of this customer service review. I do hope that the company will continue to allow professional representatives to be available, like Neil, because paying customers who rely on straight forward quality, affordable, reliable, consistent service will require it during this transition period & going forward. Honestly, I do feel a little angst, but I'm hopeful.

A tough technical problem on a very old account - from a company that has changed hands several times, then ended up with network solutions. My account has been handed down from several buyouts, so it was difficult to trace it through all of the takeovers. I was billed for an account that I (thought) I had closed... after going through a few levels of bots, finally got a person on the chat, and they resolved it, and got a refund. It took a couple of hours though.

I reached out to Bluehost support regarding a complex DNS mismatch issue for an external domain (.edu.mx) on a Reseller account. While my local WHM zone was properly configured, the public DNS cluster was stuck serving outdated NS records, causing a major conflict with our national registrar. Instead of just giving me the standard 'please wait 24-48 hours for propagation' script, the support agent actually listened to my technical diagnostic. They reviewed the intoDNS report I provided, understood exactly what was happening, and immediately forced a manual DNS cluster sync and re-pushed the zone from the WHM. This instantly fixed an issue I had been battling for over two days. Honest, highly capable, and incredibly helpful technical support. Thank you for empowering your agents to handle advanced requests!
