I personally have a very good experience with Amex. I had a challenging financial year, last year, and having my credit card saved me. Interest rates are a bit high in my plan, but it's what we agreed initially. It was my first credit card experience, as before I applied to another bank and they rejected it, (although they approved me a year later). But I'll be forever grateful with Amex for approving my application first. Thanks to that I was able to do a lot of things I wouldn't been able otherwise, and to go through some challenges during that year while changing jobs and others.

Just wanted to write a review to state that most customer service experiences I have had with AMEX, have been excellent. An example today, I lost my wallet and I'm travelling from the UK to Thailand. Simple web chat and they're sending replacement cards to my Thai hotel. Not problems, no issues. I've been waiting for my other card providers to contact me back for over an hour now. While they are not perfect (who is), I've found interactions with them help pleasant and easy.

Also der Support ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Amex platinum kostet sogesehen nichts wenn man alles nutzt, wie z.B. Versicherungen, Reiseguthaben, Restaurant Guthaben etc. Und die 13k muss man ja nicht schaffen um die bonuspunkte zu erreichen einfach durch Empfehlungen Punkte sammeln, aber in einem Haushalt mit 2-3 Personen ist das schon machbar vorallem wenn man in den Urlaub fliegt.

Anche se ho letto varie recensioni negative su Amex, per quello che mi riguarda, posso valutare senza problemi 5 stelle: sono affidabili, sicuri, e garantiscono ai propri clienti l'affidabilità di un prodotto leader come pochi. Sono loro cliente da svariati anni e ho due carte oro (una è revolving). In tutti questi anni avrò chiamato solo una decina di volte in tutto per motivi diversi e ogni volta hanno saputo rispondere professionalmente ai miei quesiti e/o richieste. Hanno un servizio clienti efficientissimo e ti seguono fino a quando non hai risolto l'eventuale problema. Certamente come loro devi dare la garanzia di essere serio ed affidabile ma presumo sia una condizione logica questa. Gli esercizi commerciali che accettano Amex sono tanti non come il circuito Mastercard o Visa che sono globali, ma sicuramente hanno un numero elevato di esercizi convenzionati. Per quanto riguarda la mia esperienza non posso fare altro che essere più che soddisfatto e dare quindi 5 stelle.

Mi allineo a chi è sconcertato dalle recensioni super negative sul servizio AMEX. Alcune sono chiaramente fake.... REVOLUT (una laundry machine) è zero rispetto ai servizi che AMEX può dare. I benefit AMEX valgono quanto il costo annuale che si paga grazie a servizi come il global dining o all'assicurazione viaggi. Per un problema che ho avuto per un viaggio gli operatori si sono fatti in quattro per aiutarmi e sono riusciti a farmi riavere dei soldi indietro. Questa si chiama ECCELLENZA nel servizio al cliente ossia andare a fondo nella risoluzione delle cose puntando alla massima soddisfazione dello stesso. Chiaramente questa è una carta per chi viaggia molto all'estero. Al sud Italia non la prendono tanto ma nel resto d'Europa e in US la penetrazione è pari a una VIsa o Mastercard. Sento citare da alcuni l'arroganza degli operatori. Io sono cliente da 15 anni e non l'ho mai sperimentata. Terrò AMEX finché sarò vivo a meno che non cada in disgrazia

Io non riesco a capacitarmi di tutte queste recensioni negative, sono cliente amex da un anno e ho sempre interloquito con personale cortese, molto competente e disponibile a qualsiasi ora del giorno e della notte, non ho mai avuto problemi con il fido anzi ho ricevuto anche un aumento di plafond io la consiglierei ad amici o parenti.

American Express, Got a e-mail for a personal loan, I thought it was junk but I opened it, I applied for the loan.It was so easy and only took a few minutes to complete, Was surprised to got a response in about 40 seconds that it was approved, Easy, Fast , with a low loan rate that I never thought i could ever get. The funds was deposited within that same day. I have to say that was the fastest easiest low rate loan I have ever had. Now its time to get rid of the high interest rate payments from all the other Credit Cards. Thanks American Express ! I will recommend you to all my family and friends .

Keine Ahnung wo die ganzen Kunden anrufen! Ich habe seit 30! Jahren eine Goldcard und bin NIE! vom Kundenservice enttäuscht worden. Ich nehme diesen Kundenservice immer als sehr gutes Beispiel wie es sein sollte. Sofortige Erreichbarkeit, kompetente Mitarbeiter und sofortige Problemlösung. Werbeanrufe bekomme ich auch nie. Kann mir die ganzen negativen Bewertungen nicht erklären.

Ich hatte ein Betrag wegen Online betrüg, bei Amex reklamiert gehabt. Ich könnte im Hotline jemanden telefonisch erreichen und sie haben mir sehr geholfen und meine Anliegen sorgfältig erledigt. Ich bin total dankbar und sehr zufrieden mit der Dienstleistung von AE. Ich habe eine Visakarte auch, leider dort kann man niemanden telefonisch erreichen und ich bin sehr enttäuscht. Ich wurde AE jeden empfehlen, weil im schwierigen Situationen, werdest du geholfen. :)TOP TOP TOP

Sogar bei mir hinzufügen einer Apple Pay Karte - Freundlichkeit wie in den Sechzigern, man wird in der Landessprache angesprochen dass äußerst höflichst und es wird ein weitergeholfen, auch bei einem Betrugsversuch, ruft die Frankfurter Zentrale an und fragt höflichst nach ob die Zahlung denn so stimmt. Normalerweise liebe ich online Banken aber dieser Service mit dieser Fachkompetenz ist echt Geld wert.

Hatte dort ca. ein Jahr eine Kreditkarte und konnte sie problemlos ohne irgendwelche Werbeanrufe o.Ä. kündigen. Das ist mir immer recht wichtig. Werde mir bei Bedarf wieder eine Karte von Amex holen.
