Jon D’Amico was an absolute pleasure to work with. He understood that I’m a busy person and explained clearly and concisely the process, the details, and used clearly labeled tables to inform me on what real world options would result in. He was honest and open, and it didn’t feel like a sales call which was refreshing. My rates for my line of credit are God-Awful, but the detail about every additional draw being added to the previous amount, paying off the prevlious amount and just being one easy solid payment at the rate that it would’ve been was just one draw at that amount. Unlike QuickBooks, where I tried to be responsible and only withdraw what I exactly I needed to during an injury that kept me from working and forced me to hire two employees that didn’t pan out ,and instead of having one $2500 payment, I have two $1800 payments, a $700 payment and a $500 payment, plus a term loan payment of $723. Not only will this help me reduce my credit card burden, get out from under my QB term loan, giving me renewed funding options at better rate and better terms with QB term loan!),! Which will restore my credit score to be able to be SBA loan able, as well. I know it’s a lot, but I can’t explain to you how many other companies turned me down for any sort of funding or line of credit at any rate. so that I could position myself to quickly and easily reduce my monthly debt burden by $5k and free me up a ton of working capital. Had I paid attention to the QB line of credit fine print I would have never taken it what would’ve taken it all at once? Just have one payment instead of four that just gouged your bank account every month, and I probably would’ve just applied for an SBA loan on the traditional way. When my credit score was in the high 700s two months ago or at the very least, done this route first. quickBooks claims all this convenience and easy stuff, and then have no problem gouging you as a policy don’t don’t consolidate line of credit withdrawals do you pay everything off? It’s a horrible vicious cycle. I’m so glad that Jon kept reaching out.

It was more detailed and personal than what I had experienced with other offers and explained clearly and adequately. It was also done in an extremely kind yet professional way, making me not want to deal with anyone else but this person (comfort zone). With my business being new and small but growing i felt like this was the best fit for me and look forward to growing together with OnDeck.
