Great telephone support
I had a problem I couldn't get to the bottom of. The bank reconciliation history report was showing an unreconciled deposit that was obviously not correct. However, when I looked at the bank account in COA the deposit wasn't there. When I clicked through on the rec history report, the transaction history said the nominal code was Cash Account. So why was it on the Bank rec history report? The support agent hit on the answer, the client had corrected the transaction after producing the reconciliation history. No warning was given because the transaction had not been reconciled. We proved this by looking at the audit history and be reconciling the bank in real time. Only someone with good accounting knowledge would have been able to solve this one. Great to know the support agents understand the program and understand traditional double entry.
