In an age of endless frustration dealing with customer service bots and every other contrivance to stop you actually talking to someone, it was an absolute joy to find that Sage offer outstanding human customer support. The person I spoke to this time, Charly, was a model of friendliness, patience, understanding and knowledge. If only other companies would waste less money on automated solutions and provide well trained support staff, the world would be a better place!

We are changing to Sage payroll and its all been a little daunting to set everything up. Lee Carlsen has been fantastic and patient and given the time to allow the changes etc to 'sink in'. I'm confident that when we go live at the beginning on the new tax year it will run super smoothly.

After using Sage support online documents to troubleshoot issue we were experiencing with logging into one of our RDA companies, in the end had to contact Sage Support Team.
Our case was assigned to Ellen, who was very helpful and friendly on the phone and discussed in great steps I'd already taken to see if there were any additional measure I could take.
She decided that running some internal support tool would more than likely resolve issue, so after allowing remote access, within 5 minutes we were back up and running, she remained on whilst checking which was greatly appreciated.
All I can say is this is how support desks should operate, the perfect customer experience, thanks once again :)

I had an excellent onboarding experience with Sage HR, thanks to the outstanding support provided by Pamela Escalante.
From the very beginning, Pamela demonstrated exceptional professionalism, patience, and deep product knowledge. She guided us through the onboarding process step-by-step, ensuring that we fully understood how to configure and use the platform effectively. Her training sessions were clear, well-structured, and tailored to our organisation’s needs, which made the transition to Sage HR seamless and efficient.

Sage onboarding team
We had a session today with Paul, who helped us with setting up Sage HR, and it was brilliant. He has excellent knowledge of the system, is open to listening and understanding our needs, and proposes solutions that work perfectly for us. Our charity is implementing three Sage products at the same time: Sage Payroll and HR with support directly from the Sage team, and Sage Intacct with support from a Sage partner. My team's opinion is that Sage's support is much superior to what we are receiving from Sage partners. The product is still good, but if we had known how bad our onboarding team is with Sage Intacct, we would not have bought it.

Sage-Reopened my Account
Sage, was able to reopen my account in a very fast period of time. Sage(Vuyo) Was very courteous and professional and patient. He was able to confidently and patiently guide me through the process of being able to get my account back online. He did a super job. I had a stroke in January 2025 and was unable to remember how to log into my account but he was able to verify my account and validate my authority to access my details on the portal. I’m so pleased with the outcome of what he has done well he with the rest of his team if everybody work this good there will be no problems with the company thank you young man. Vuyo, was able to reopen my account in a very fast period of time. Vuyo Was very courteous and professional and patient. He was able to confidently and patiently guide me through the process of being able to get my account back online. He did a super job. thank God that he was able to open the details for me. I had verification on the account which was stopping me from being able to move forward and by putting a pause on the validation I was able to use a QR code to move forward and so I am very much grateful that he was able to work with his team and get me access to the account

I find Sage excellent to deal with. Their customer care is fantastic, which personally means a lot more to me than the product itself. The system is also very user-friendly, even for first-time users.
In particular, Claire Hewitt has been exceptional to deal with. She is always very patient and professional and provides clear, step-by-step guidance whenever needed, which I really appreciate.

Keith understood the requirement and amended an existing report from another customer to include the fields I noted were missing. He took the time to answer my queries and ensure I understood what the fields were calculating so I could write a briefing document for my CFO and Trustees. Very prompt service.
