1. Procedure for getting in touch with live agent was quick and easy. 2. After explaining the problem (Stripe issues) agent quickly identified the incorrect settings that I had set up. 3. Agent talked me through using shared screen processes on how to correct the bank balances. 4. Extremely patient - I'm slow, not so young - agent was very helpful in directing me to the correct icon, etc.

Xero has been an excellent accounting platform for our business. It’s easy to navigate, performs consistently, and helps streamline day-to-day financial management. The features are well designed and make bookkeeping and reporting more efficient. Overall, a very strong product and a valuable tool for any small business.

Efficiency

My problem was not so much a Xero problem but rather a third party integration. I did not know how to resolve it, but the Xero customer support person I spoke to carefully considered the options and sent me a list of third parties that could help. I followed up on all of them and settled on one that provided exactly what we were looking for.

I received a very prompt response to my enquiry and the issue was settled quite easily whilst sharing my screen, over the telephone.

Onboarding with John was great, super accommodating, knowledgeable and generally enjoyable to chat with. Got the info I need to make me feel comfortable moving our system over to Xero and equipped me with the tools I need to figure out whatever I won’t know going forward. Great stepping on point for me

I elected S corp status for my agency earlier this year and quickly realized I was in over my head with the payroll requirements. You can't just pay yourself however you want anymore - you need "reasonable salary," withholdings, quarterly taxes. I'm not an accountant but Gusto walked me through everything. The setup process helped me figure out what a reasonable salary should be based on my industry and revenue, set up the withholdings, and got me registered with the state tax agency. Took maybe an hour total. The payroll runs automatically on my schedule. Taxes get calculated, withheld, and paid automatically. Easy to pay yourself both salary (with taxes) and distributions (without payroll taxes). You can do both from the same dashboard. This was confusing as hell when I was researching how S corps work, but Gusto makes it simple. If you're a solo founder or small agency owner who just elected S corp status, don't try to DIY this.

Every aspect of using Gusto from setting up in the platform, onboarding employees, and running payroll has been exceptional. I switched from Paychex which was a complete nightmare and I am so happy that I did. Gusto makes it so easy to handle everything on your own including an incredibly helpful AI chatbot. And when you can't figure it out, customer service is great and responsive.

As a Company, Anglitemp have used Sage account packages for over 25 years. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. When you ring them, they put you at ease, and sort out any issues. When we decided to move our payroll to another provider our first choice was Sage. The sales team were very helpful which led to a telephone call with Natalie Cade, enablement consultant. Natalie went through all our options, and we asked if it would be possible to have onsite installation and training rather than online. This was agreed and Natalie's help and support throughout this has been amazing. To have someone talk you through everything step by step but to be there in person makes the whole process a lot easier. We would recommend Sage not only for their products, but because they go above and beyond to help their customers.

I have struggled with an issue in upgrading the version of my software for a number of days. This morning I had my issue resolved by a very knowledgeable and helpful agent. This was done quickly and without me being required to be an IT expert. She took control and simply fixed the problem.

Sage call centre is pretty much the best of its type of anyone I deal with. Phone is answered by a human, help is always easily to hand. I have never had an issue which wasn't handled and solved promptly. It is very clear to me that Sage invest in their people, and understand customer service. I would add that I have been using Sage since 1991!

Recently had to contact the Sage technical team due to an error making it impossible to log in. This was down to my laptop rather than the programme itself. Jordan was very patient, knowledgeable and clear in guiding me how to fix the issue. Compared to other services I have used in the past it was very refreshing that my issue could be fixed so promptly. I didn’t have to hold for hours either which was a huge positive.

I rang Sage today with an issue I was having. I am not the best on computers but Peter whom I spoke to was very polite and patient and explained everything to me, resolving my issue without a problem. His customer service was excellent and he put me at ease. I would highly recommend Sage support.

I use Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll. I find the software straightforward to use. When I need technical support it is easy, one phone call and done. Sage is the only supplier that I interact with where I can speak to someone on my first attempt. Everyone I have dealt with over the years are experts about their Sage products. I consider Sage staff as being the best trained people that I have ever interacted with. I highly recommend Sage for your accounting and payroll software needs.

I needed to upgrade my Sage software to the latest version and was unsure what to do. On ringing Sage I spoke to a chap called Anthony who took me through the process clearly and easily. He was very polite and helpful to me as I am not the best with technology! Thank you

Sage might seen rather expensive at first glance but the quality of support more than makes up for it. No hanging around waiting for call centres. Straight through to customer support and software engineers who really know the system!
